Transnet in conjunction with the Pen Foundation have donated 458 pairs of school shoes. The hand over of the shoes took place at the Ngwabi Primary School, Nongoma, KZN.

On the 21st of January 2015, the Ngwabi Primary School, was the host of the hand over of 458 pairs of school shoes. These shoes are destined for 5 different schools across 5 provinces.
It was a memorable event at the Ngwabi Primary School which is remotely tucked away in the Matheni area, in the rural hinterlands of Zululand.
