After a month of sharing your experiences and liking our Transnet Foundation Facebook page (www.facebook.com/pages/Transnet-Cares/243525065780891?ref=stream ) coupled with a massive registration of our e-newsletter on our new website (www.transnet foundation.co.za) , the time has come to announce a winner of the highly coveted and wanted piece of techno-gadgetry, the latest iPad!

Ms Nazabella Dladla of Centurion became the instant winner, and he was excited to collect her prize.

“Unbeknown to her, Nazabella became the lucky random person who logged on in our website on the 17th of March and responded to the registration prompt as everyone else did. But the difference is,  at that very minute  the registration counter was standing at registrant 499, so she became the lucky 500th subscriber, bagging herself the ultimate prize” says Sibusiso Ngomane, Senior Manager Communications at the Foundation.

Ms Dladla expressed gratitude to the Transnet Foundation for having afforded her and everyone else the opportunity to sign up for the Transnet Cares newsletter and win an iPad. “I thought I was dreaming when I received an email from the communications department of the Transnet Foundation informing me that I had won an iPad!” she exclaims.

The Transnet Foundation launched its website on the 27th of February with a lot of funfair, with massive internal and external interests – with added resounding reviews from a marketing website www. Bizcommunity.com and www.engineeringnews.com

The Transnet Foundation website, coupled with its Facebook and Twitter handles have seen a surge in traffic, effectively lending credence to its status as the biggest single repository for Transnet’ community involvement information.

“Communicating the impact of the programmes we support is an opportunity to better convey our intention and strategy and affirm our focus both externally and internally and our digital and non-digital assets have allowed us to reach maximum audiences. We are extremely grateful for the level of support we have received from all our stakeholders,” concluded Mr Ngomane.
